From 23–25 March, Style Architects brings its signature hands-on shoemaking workshops to Cape Town, hosted at Woodheads. These full-day workshops are designed for beginners, leather crafters, creatives, and aspiring footwear entrepreneurs who want to learn how to make shoes properly — from structure to sole.

Each class is limited to just 6 students, ensuring personal attention, professional guidance, and a high-quality learning experience.

• Leather Sneakers – A modern essential. Learn how to construct a leather sneaker with proper structure, sole attachment, and finishing.

All styles are designed to teach real shoemaking techniques that you can apply again at home or in your business.

What You’ll Learn

During this full-day Cape Town shoemaking workshop, you will learn:

• How to mould and shape a leather upper onto a shoe last

We prepare some of the technical pre-cutting and sewing to ensure the workshop runs smoothly — however, we demonstrate and explain every step in detail so you understand the full construction process and can repeat it independently.
